Pastry Chef

A longtime DC resident, Stephanie began working in restaurants in 2012 as a pastry assistant at Jackie's in Silver Spring, Maryland, where she realized she had a strong passion for cooking, especially baking. She spent several formative years working at 1905 Bistro & Bar where she developed both her pastry and savory cooking skills before moving on to the Knightsbridge Group in 2017 to do pastry full time at Nopa Kitchen + Bar. As the Pastry Chef at Mintwood Place, her desserts reflect her love of American cuisine, especially the South, and are heavily influenced by seasonal and local ingredients.
